Our Support Workers
All our staff receive mandatory training and are required to complete the Care Certificate (Skills for care) as part of their induction programme. We believe in values-based recruitment to match the needs of our Service Users taking into consideration the diverse make up of our community. We are committed to investing in the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) of our staff, with the aim that all achieve at least a level 3 Diploma in Health and social Care.
We work with BILD to provide the necessary training such as Positive Behaviour support to enable us to understand and manage behaviour that challenges.
Our Vision statement
The hopes and dreams of our service users come to fruition, their disabilities no longer a barrier to them having fulfilling and active lives. It is our role to inspire change and enable service users to manage their own lives as independently as possible and develop and use their own abilities.
The future we envision is one where those with disabilities are treated as equals, and they and their families are able to access the support they need – when they need it. A society where social care, supported living and those benefitting from it are truly recognised and valued.
