Learning Disabilities

Our learning disability support is based upon individual assessments and support plans, this may be in a Supported Living environment, outreach or day care.  We work to meet the needs of those with Asperger’s, learning disabilities and others who fall within the Autistic spectrum.

We are committed to delivering a risk positive and outcome-focused service. With this in place, the aim is for individuals to gain control over where and how they choose to live. One part of achieving this is the use of Positive Behaviour Support; an approach to understanding and managing behaviour that is presented.  We offer the service user an individualised plan of support which can include educational, recreational and other stimulating activities to enrich their lives. We work with linked support groups, volunteers, friends, families and other professionals to achieve agreed goals.
